To provide a sense of sleek, cozy, and sophisticated atmosphere in contemporary design. Besides, renovation the hotel is paying attention to preserving the inheritance story of this building as it was constructed and operate as a hotel in the 1950s, in response to Bangkok's growing role in the Vietnam War when thousands of U.S. military personnel were either stationed or came fore Rest&Recuperation. The hotel has kept welcoming and accommodating over a million guests for the last 70 years.
